To use Echo IQ connect and exchange studies from your DICOM, you will need to configure a customised instance within the Echo Platform.

Step 1 - Creating an Organization Access Token

  • Ensure that the user conducting the following steps has the 'Organisation Admin' role. You can find out more about different roles here.

  • Please refer to 'Create an Access Token' in Organisation Access Token for instructions on creating a Token. At a minimum, you will need the following roles 'EchoSolv Assessment', and 'Echo IQ Connect'.

To achieve the above steps, you will need to be an Organisation Admin in the Echo IQ Platform for your organisation

Step 2 - Creating an Echo Connect Instance and Token Assignment

  • In EchoSolv navigate to the Organisation Management page

  • Click on the Echo IQ Connect tab. This tab contains all Echo Connect instances that are connected to your organisation.

  • Attach a new instance by clicking 'Add New'

  • Select the Access Token you made in Step 1 from the dropdown list to create a new Echo Connect Instance relation.

Step 3 - Turning on PACS integration and adding a new remote server

  • Once a new Echo Connect instance is visible in the Echo Connect Tab, switch on the PACs Integration toggle.

  • In the PACs Integration area, click 'Add New'

  • You will be required to add the following details

    • Alias is a name created by you to identify which server you are pulling from

    • AE Title represents the name by which the DICOM server is

    • Host represents the iPv4 address of the target DICOM server

    • Poll Frequency represents the configurable frequency of pull requests (in minutes)

    • Poll From Date (Study Date) is the start date for studies used for assessment generation from the DICOM server

    • DICOM Protocol is used for the type of communication between your DICOM and Echo IQ product

    • PHI Masking toggle represents if you would like to hide 'Patient Names' in the transfer

    • Image Writeback toggle represents if you would like to have the option to write back the assessment images from EchoSolv back to your DICOM server.

We understand that this can be overwhelming in the first instance! You always have the option of contacting our Customer Support team through the Echo IQ Live Chat

After configuring the above steps, you can now Download and Install Echo IQ Connect
